My Friend And I - Poem by KatieLynn Watson

My friend and I
we are so alike
we do everything together
I am her moon
she is like the stars to me
she is like my sister
we share all our secrets

But when she moves
I will be left alone
standing in the rain
as she makes new friends
My nights will have no stars
As I cry, she laughs
Now that I am alone
