My Hand Poem by Michael P. McParland

My Hand

My hand is reaching out for yours.
Will you take it and let me feel
your comforting love and warmth?
Please take my hand pull me close
to snuggle and rub my face and head
to give me comfort and peace,
tell me everything is okay
and that you love me.
I know with no doubt you truly
deeply love me but I need to hear it
for calming reassurance.

During that I'll give you the
softest most passionate kiss
from the soul connecting in the deepest way.
I'll look deeply into those
miraculosly beautiful eyes and say
I love you babe for all eternity.
Will you take my hand and let me
honor my Angel Queen?
