If there is pain or danger outside and if someone knocks just for a shelter, it is humane on our part to open the door for him! The dilemma is intensely felt here! Thank you Ali for your sweet comment on my 300th poem!

What you convey here is something so profound. An act, any act, can bring all sorts of consequences. We may opt to open a door when we hear the knock, but the outsider seeking entry may not be what or whom we expect. This is a gem, Muhammad.
