Sports 1 - Football Fever
Game of forward motion, kick, score,
Game of vibrant commotion, quick, dare,
Game of active promotion, lively, exciting.
Game of euphoric emotion, delightful, cheering!
Striking the ball in speedy, split seconds,
Snapping the ball like life's only chance,
Kicking the ball into space in defying moments,
Knocking the ball like dancing movements.
Football Fever,
Frantic game of magical goals,
Fantastic crowd,
Fabulous sport of fun and frolic!
You have rightly said in view of all the action on field- Football.... Fabulous sport of fun and frolic!
This time I couldn't watch any match- football or cricket- for some reason but reading about it in my newspapers.
As I have repeated often, football is my religion, it is so for millions too.
Yes! Only Geeta could strike the forwarding words to the winning goal of a sports poem. GO, FRANCE, GO!
