Thought Of You - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Thought of you while I was out my dear
wishing you were there right by my side.
It was very crowded and people kept
on jamming me into a corner.
I was getting very anxious your
sweet spirit and reassurance always calms me.
I couldn't wait to get back home so I could write you.
So I am back at home decompressing from
the anxiety filled chore and I
thought of you the whole time through
to give me strength and fight on through
the anxeity to get done with everything.
I'm always thankful for the warm loving care you send.
I hope and pray I've helped you too.
Now I'll lay back for just a bit to catch
my breath and my wits,
I'll be thinking about you my dear
sending all my loving care.
I love you babe feel my arms around you
pulling you in for a thank you kiss.
I miss you so very much
I can't wait for you to be right here.
