I'm emotional
To you all my liking
One of the insane character
In the scriptures of love, I am ignorant
In the comprehension of love, I am a constant failure learner
Your affectionate smile, your shy look,
The obscure ripples of the lips pair
Kills me over and over again
At the center of this fascinated emotion
When I look back at the moonlight
It illuminates the world with your beauty
In the words of the morning hymn,
in the verse of the song, in the stanza of the poem
Hither, thither, everywhere I find your name
of the blooming flowers in the garden
In every petal, I get your engraved name
The alphabet of all the languages of the world
Just write your name in my heart
I am insane in you, I am the Farhad of that Shirin
Forgetting himself who was only mad at Shirin
I can only see wherever I look
A reflection of your precious mysterious colors
I'm not anymore myself
Tell me, who am I?

" In the words of the morning hymn, in the verse of the song, in the stanza of the poem Hither, thither, everywhere I find your name" When one is 'head over heels in love', it so happens that in whatever he sees and hears, he sees only her face and sound! He merges with his lover so much that he loses his separate identity! A poem on the great impact of love!
A well crafted poem. Truly splendid.....5 stars *****
The alphabet of all the languages of the world Just write your name in my heart A passionate love poem so full of exquisite imagery! Wonderfully penned, dear Poet Mahtab........5 stars
Another resphody. Very beautifully picked the topic and painted it beautifully with artistic touch of expression. Thank-you for your eminent piece of work.
fabulous your thought- here you have glorified the thoughtful self; great thought provoking
Well, you were " the Farhad of that Shirin" , as you told us ;) Thanks for sharing, and just looked some info re the tragic romance by the Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi (1141–1209) which is also told under the titles " Shirin and Farhad" .
'Hither, thither, everywhere I find your name' - this happens when one is in deep love.
In love we loose our identity, that's why Manoor said, Haw (I am God) .
you are you a reflection of your own mind you are you if you think only negatively you are not you so think positively see beauty in my eyes stare deep within and see your own reflection i am the mirror you look at daily but quickly you forget me and absentmindedly ask me daily who am i question yourself apply your mind i gave you for free my son now use it before you return it to me till then use it daily polish it then only you will know are you and i who
