4. 'Black Day For The Pink City Stained Red..13th May 2008'

[IT IS NOT A POEM]

[To all my POET READERS ]

My beautiful PINK CITY is tainted RED today
Six or more Serial Bomb Blast ripped through the heart of the city
Ruining the peace of the Historically Royal town
The heritage now turned in a graveyard.

JAIPUR the capital city of the most peaceful state Rajasthan in INDIA
Became the target of terrorism tolling many innocent lives
The growing Metropolis became the playground of evil forces
My heart broke to watch the heart rendering visuals of the remnants.

I want the support of all my poet readers to condemn this inhuman act
And wish that no evil force should succeed in its aim.

Although I am safe with my family but do not know of so many
All those who are killed or injured were the residents of my city.

GOD have mercy and give courage to the families and the citizens to bear this hour of grief.

Abha Sharma, JAIPUR [ Rajasthan], INDIA [13th may 2008,10: 30 pm].

Abha, your Pink City will return.. and like Ms T.x says... 'hats off to you'.. you are embracing PH as a rich resource (and because of it ... much sharing is occuring so replenishment is happening...in an open and sustainable way) .... aroha Deana

Thank you Abha for referring me to your poem. I remember the city, it's beautiful people and it's tranquility of the time, the 80's was when I was there, visiting the famous tannary, buy your semi precious jewels, garnets, amythest, lapislagery, etc etc....a memory that will always shine in my heart. No people deserve such terror, especially such peace loving people as I found them. I am so sorry for the devastation upon your pink city and I pray the blood stains are not repeated. Thank you again and of course as a reader and writer I am OUTRAGED at such atrocity. Take care of you and your family, and keep up the good fight for justice and peace, Tai

Abha! My hopes and prayers go out to you and yours for an end these terrorist atrocities! Terrorists are cowards of the lowest form spawned by Satan! They will be sent back to Hell, from whence they came! Carry on your crusade you will win, these devils will loose! Best always! Friend Thad

Such an act where people are killed is painful and surely happening of such a thing can only bring tears in eyes of everyone. What is good is that people are united to fight terrorism. It is nice to hear that the writer who defined her pain in words which define extreme sorrow is safe.

I believe it is wrong to hurt and kill innocent people. Humans are not perfect, but no human should have to go through, listen, or watch such terrible acts! Bien!
