A Quiet Evening - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Kira I so want and need a quiet evening
sitting back in bed with thee.
To find a movie we could see while
you curl up in my arms so close to me
and I just hold you so tightly
to keep you so very warm and so very comfy.
I want so very bad a quiet evening with Kira
my sweet Queen and gorgeous Angel who means
everything to me here dedicated and loving Michael.
Then after the movie share some sweet kisses
for about 5 to 10 minutes and then
I want to snuggle up so tight and spoon
with my sweet lady of light.
I want to hold you while we sit
smiling, spooning, and talking.
A quiet and beautiful evening of delight
with my Angel Kira holder of my soul and heart.
I just want to spend a quiet evening
letting you know I care and that I'm here.
I truly always try my best to give you
all that you need and I am so very sorry
if I am falling short at times dear.
I wish you were here for a quiet night
where you could curl up in my arms
while watch a film and then share kisses
before talking and spooning feeling close and content
as we just spend time with each other.
I love you sweet Kira and am dying for
a quiet evening because I just want to hold you
and give you reassurance while we are both soothed.
