Love And Life - Poem by Michelle Aultman

Growing up in a little bitty town you learn a lot about life and love but it took you to show me how great life and love is.

Around here people just tell you about it and keep your dreams up by telling you how great it is but you on the other hand allowed me to experience it.

You opened my mind to these two wonderful things you gave me a life by showing me love and that is when I realized that one can’t live without the other. If you don’t have a life then you don’t have love and if you don’t have love then you don’t have a life.

Loving you was the greatest thing I ever did and I will never regret it because it made me the girl I am today. Love allows you to have a life and life allows you to find love. Being with you and then losing you made me realized love can be taken away so fast and so easy just like a life.

Life is a very fragile thing and if you play around with it then you’ll just wind up hurt in the end. So if you have a life then hold it tight and make sure you love that one special person that loves you.
