Never Let Go Of Your Mind - Poem by Nataliea Collins

Some days my mind takes a break,
And leaves my consciousness to think alone.
Then no matter how hard I try to tell you how I feel,
My body keeps moving so I can’t dig in my heels.
No chance for me to turn back,
Because there is no consciousness lack.
That’s why my heart beats alone,
On those solemn walks home.
Just those couple days my mind takes a break,
And I know I won’t be able to take the cake.
So never let go of your mind.
