The Dawn Of A New Year Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Dawn Of A New Year

Rating: 5.0

Like the morning light, the new year is born
As you wake up with the sunshine
You feel hope running through yr veins
Wondering if this year will be filled with beauty
Or the dread of Hell
Only time would tell you the ending
But you must wait for the answer

While waiting we can act on our expectations. When I'm waiting to eat I wash my hands, go to the table, and even prepare the food. When I'm waiting for vacation I pack my bags, make plans for the trip, buy my tickets." As you wake up with the sunshine You feel hope running through yr veins" 5*****

The waiting, the anticipation, the hope. Sometimes things works out, sometimes they don't. But sometimes you can make changes while you are waiting and thereby change the outcome. Not often, though.

No one knows what the futre hold but bring a good pessimist, I never expect too much positive deeds from a world so in need of benevolence and honest transactions.
