I followed the star;
I didn't know why.
It seemed not so far,
and bright in the sky.
It moved right along
from the very start.
I heard a sweet song
which cheered up my heart.
It stopped right above
a stable so bright;
I felt a great love
on that precious night.
The things that I saw,
the things that I heard,
Have left me in awe
of His holy word.
This is absolutely precious work..... thanks for sharing....
Four stanzas about The Star, precious words herein this lovely poem and I have enjoyed tremendously the words about the Birth of Jesus.5 Stars.

Absolutely Beautiful! ... Ever so Inspiring! .. Endless 10'S And Stars! ..++++++++++++++++++++++++
Ron, this is beautiful! I was actually moved to tears! A flawless use of syllabic verse and a perfect rhyme scheme in a poem full of feeling. Five stars and to my favorites!
Gee, Ron, for a 'religious poem', I KIND LIKED THIS! ! It almost makes me 'want to' go back to my now abandoned Christian upbringing! ! ! It DOES remind me of the kis; -sized boxes of colorful 'hard candy' my church gave to 'us kids' at least on one Christmas.
