What's beautiful
Has flaws
As the rose with the thistles
A lady with a wrecked heart
Is as beautiful as
The moon with its scars.

What a nice question, difficult to choose what's beautiful: If I chose Rose the other two will be unhappy and won't allow me to write poems on them. Since I have limitations with other two, I can only touch, smell and scrutinize Rose not the other two. And you trapped my imaginations with this wonderful poem.100+++
Yes, we have to accept it as an unimpeachable truth. If we further expand it, we will see its parity in day & night, light & shade, smiles & tears and so on. These are inseparable and part of the whole. Thanks that you shared this thoughtful musing.
Musing along with your mind! ! Able to enhance the muse of beauty. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Yes that wistful moon! Pain can be enlightening and wretchedly beautiful at the same time!
There can be something painful behind everything we feel beautiful....10

Very true words. Accepting with the flaws is the real challenging but worthy decision. Beautiful.
