Fear - Poem by tara walker

My life is reckless because your not near, everyone’s gone its only me holding these fears. The radio keeps playing our favourite song, I can’t help but sing along it’s the tune in my mind that sends me to sleep Then I dread the dreams I keep having about you there’s no wonder I cant get back to sleep. All I can see is a blur a misery, god help me let me be free. This year wasn’t meant to be crazy but as I picture it, so it seems that the harder that I try the more life falls back on top of me. As I crashed you carried me through the night but where were you when I needed you to hold me tight. I try and place the words that go through my mind but the harder that I try I always seem to fall on my feet then break down and cry. You gave me life but I wanted lives so I could change our past so I didn’t have to live my life like a road trip driving so fast. So tell me when to end this because I’ll stop right here I’ll wait for you until I find myself growing under my tears.
