Wandering Soul - Poem by Silentpoet Grl

her bleeding feet callused
wandering lost for so long
this vacant soul searching
longing to finally belong.
telling of her broken story
rustling dry and cracked,
crimson stained pages turn.
silently her life is fading
only splintered pieces remain
grasping, longing to hold on
never finding any change
no words left to describe
the empty hollowness inside.
wandering lost and alone
this tired soul searches
faintly hearing whispers,
a beautiful hushed lullaby
haunted calls from the grave
beckoning to the broken
seeking solace unknown.
the whispered melodies
leads this restless soul
to find comfort buried below.

Life can sometimes be such a painful journey... It can sometimes seem that we are all blind travellers on an epic journey of nothingness... Yet life's pains are merely lessons that grow the soul... You are an epic poet my friend... (Report)Reply

Excellent! A beautifully crafted poem that when I started to read I went over and over and I absolved its message and I became speechless for a moment!
