Understanding Beauty From Your Eyes Poem by Unwritten Soul

Understanding Beauty From Your Eyes

Rating: 4.4

Perhaps because i was born blind
Black be my forever favorite color
My trusted eyes are from you my friend
Though i don't know what beauty means
But know it is opposite to ugly
Even ugly is strange to me too
Because only darkness in my eyes

Fragrance tricked my breathe
Oh I know you hold me a rose
With the praise for its crimson
By the layers you describe the grace
I wanted to have but all I see is the same
Black, the color that i see
Because darkness is my sight
My blindness believe of your eyes
Hold it to my own hands but thorns hurt me
Is it beautiful? In pain i still trust you
Because you are my eyes
So I know..
That the rose is really beautiful

Rail of colors appeared after the raindrops
So beautiful in seven lanes you convinced
Intense red mesmerize sky ended by calm violet hue
How i wonder the amazing world by your sound if it true
But still to me all colours just the same, only black stained
Because darkness is all i see before and after the rain
Glad to know noisy storm creates beauty at the end

Oh why I am blind to see my own smile
That i wish i could see because you say it is nice
Not only me, everything is beautiful from your view
Maybe this world full of beauty that i will never can see
But i am glad, you are my eyes to see for me

If you ask, i cant even distinguish what color you wear
The only thing i sure you wearing a black one maybe
Laughing on me, you say dark is beautiful just like night
All times you forgotten to tell ugliness around me
That's why my finger bleed when rose thorn cut me buddy
And i risk myself in storm because you never say bad about it to me

When i heard voices whispering ugly about you
I dont trust my ears even i can hear perfectly
My trust on your eyes not with my blindness
With you i see true beauty not by my sight
But i sense it perfectly with my heart
Because with you beauty is everywhere
Is there ugliness you know? perhaps no
While with others they describe me ugliness
How scare i am knowing how worse world can be

I dont know colors but your heart must be crimson
Like a rose you praised or like the rainbow after storm
The beauty that i never perceived in my eyes
But beauty that i can see from heart
By a blind man like me
Do you see like me,
Do you?

People may not believe my beauty experience
Sorry because all things look same to me
More sorry, i cant explain about colors
because i am a blind man
But i have a heart
That still can see many

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is story that crossed over to my mind, A blind man with beautiful hearted friend that be his eyes to see world that he can never see...The friend who tells nice words describing how beautiful world is, brightening the blind man vision though from many people he heard world is full of ugliness...In his blindness he found rare beauty, the beauty view from his friend's heart, and found his heart is kind of another beauty form...we rarely found when we have normal sight..for a blind man he experiences this to feel colors in his dark sight. Be friend with people that have good heart, and good hearted people dont talk bad or ugly words..and befriend with them will make you live in earthly heaven_Soul

beauty cant b seen with these two naked eyes that so millions of peole with eyes are unable to realise the beauty they can never express in comparision to a person without eye. a blind do realise the beauty thro eyes of heart. a profound write having a colorful n mystic flavor. a complete perfection with true melody. i too have posted more than 500 poems but in very rare there is such perfection. thank you so much for sharing.

dear US, Rail of colors appeared after the raindrops....this line caused me to look up definition of rail. i thought it would mean a bird (i have seen) or ONE bar, such as on a rail fence or, i suppose as part of railroad tracks. i now know that rail can mean a set of bars, as in a rainbow! Rail of colors is a nice change from writing rainbow. AND you mentioned that the rail appears after the raindrops. this caused me to google rainbow formation: Rainbow Formation One of nature's most splendid masterpieces is the rainbow. A rainbow is an excellent demonstration of the dispersion of light and one more piece of evidence that visible light is composed of a spectrum of wavelengths, each associated with a distinct color. To view a rainbow, your back must be to the sun as you look at an approximately 40 degree angle above the ground into a region of the atmosphere with suspended droplets of water or even a light mist. Each individual droplet of water acts as a tiny prism that both disperses the light and reflects it back to your eye. So you see that there are droplets of water where the rainbow forms, though the viewer is usually/always? where the raindrops have moved to another location. as for the message of the poem and the telling of it: EXCELLENT! and the poet's note was very welcome as well. though i found the english to not be polished, meaning not the way i would write it as a native-born speaker of english, i had little if any trouble understanding the poem. it really was very good......even though if the blind man had ME for a friend, i might try to convey ugliness with my words. BUT even as i was typing that last sentence, i realized and remembered the saying: beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that can easily be said for ugliness as well. then we might get into the discussion of various kinds of beauty such as visual beauty, moral beauty, and aural beauty. i've said enough! thanks for sharing. bri

A blind man feels beauty in trust of his friend's words. He believe him and his eyes. He really feels everything black as he is blind but he has an another eye through which he can see real beauty and that is heart. A kind hearted man never says ugly and feels the eternal beauty. Dear Soul, you have astutely and nicely painted this theme in this poem that touches the hearts of the readers. Beautiful poem with lofty insight!
