To My Mother
To My Mother:
There once was an artist from New York
Whose talent was temporarily cork'd
The move to the middle,
Made her future a riddle
and now the road ahead was fork'd.
And yet this artist had nothing to fret
For her competence was nothing to forget
With a look here
And a search there
A success is one that I would bet.
