3am Tears - Poem by LaceyBree Wratchford

My heart, because of you, is being torn in two.
About that there doesn't seem to be anything, anyone can do.
There's all these other guys, they come and they can go.
For they may make me smile, but my true feelings I'll never show.
Everyone's telling me that time will heal the pain.
But I feel like the longer I go without you, the more I go insane.
I'm sure it makes me foolish, for playing your love game.
But I can't help that without you, I'm just not the same.
You don't understand that you're the only one I've ever truly, let in.
Because this was the one, time I thought love would win.
Due to all those times we shared, and the words you said.
Not once did I think your love for me would go dead.
The things you've decided to let go unfixed, that I'd like to change.
We could of saved us, only a few things we needed to rearrgange.
Unfortunatly, I'm aware that time I can't turn back.
Now the love I have, you seem to lack.
For my hope will not fade, because the future is unknown.
Not to mention, my heart will always remain yours to own.
No matter how stupid it may be, I will love and want you forever.
Even though, you've showed me your forever has changed to never.
These are my feelings, I just had to share.
Regardless of the fact, that you no longer seem to care.
