A Growing Feeling - Poem by Bradley J. Lomeli

A feeling held in heart of stone,
A tongue to quick to talk,
An issue with proportions blown,
Transforms ones ration into shock,

I wonder if it's jealousy,
A seed love often sows,
I wonder what he thinks of me,
As I see the land I hoed,

I look at all the seed's I have,
And at the ones I planted,
The ones I sprinkled on this path,
That can not be recanted,

We burry them in dirt and dust,
To move upon our way,
Covered doubt and green mistrust,
Hoping to forget someday,

But I know the seeds we sow,
Will grow a crop anew,
And one day soon that time will grow,
The very seeds we threw
