A House Made Of Glass. - Poem by Carl Roussell

You shouldn't throw stones
when you live in a house made of glass.
There are no secrets
when you live in a house made of glass.

Days were so clear when
with nothing to hide we were open.
And we were true when
we lived in our house made of glass.

In our house made of glass
the future, our future, couldn't last.
And as our feelings implode,
the life we had planned explodes.

Shards of sharp shaded shadows
cut us to the quick,
so we can't carry each other,
let alone the dreams dreamt.

The dream fades with the sunrise,
life and love chasing dimming stars.
And with the passage of time
we start to look through one another.

Topic(s) of this poem: alone, anger, despair, future

    Yeah, clear,
    crystal clear
    everywhere
    the house, made of glass
    inside and out
    no thrash there are
    the life and the dream
the breath, the hope in no dim
yet the time bring us on the passage
to look through one another/// its good and finest poem, thanks for sharing
