After Dance Kiss - Poem by Raimee Lewis

While I Stare Into Your Eyes
You Give Me A Look
A Twinkel In Your Eyes
Your Body Language Said Kiss Me
Then Your Lips Said No
Just Friends
Why Should I Bother
That's What I Thought
Soon As I Noticed
You Grab Me
Grab Me By The Neck
And Playfully
Kiss Me
Thinking To Myself
What Is He Doing
Should I Accept
He Stared Into My Dark Brown Eyes
I Stared Into His
Scarred As I Was
Yes Scarred Indeed
We Walked Away
Walked Away Into Our Personal Space Again
Wondering What To Do Next
After Minutes Away From Each Other
We Found Each Other Again
Like A Mother Finds Her Lost Child
I Figured We Now Are Together
He Embraces Me With A Hug Of Goodbye
As Winter Break Comes And Goes
I Know Now He Will Think Of Me
