Another Day Gone By. - Poem by Benjamin Sorvel

Another day gone by, and for what?
Just to inhale and exhale again and again?
A second of now is all you’ve got.
A second of hope, or a second of pain.

Another day gone by, and for what?
Just to run, to hide, or to chase?
You own your life, so write the plot.
You choose when, you choose the place.

Another day gone by, and for what?
Just to do it all again tommorrow?
To be pressed again to do the lot?
To be filled with joy, regret or sorrow?

Another day gone by, and for what?
Just to lead the way up until the end?
To live out the moments, all tied in a knot?
Untill there's only a single moment left to spend...
