Beer In The Bath - Poem by Eric Jackson

I get some hot water
And some bubble-bath
I mix it together
To make a hot bath
I take ice cold lager
And guzzle it down
I'll get myself drunk
And try not to drown

Beer in the bath
Beer in the bath
I like drinking beer in the bath

I listen to music
And sometimes sing along
But when I get drunk
I get the words wrong
I finish a can
Pour the dregs on my head
I don't use shampoo
I use beer instead

Beer in the bath
Beer in the bath
I like drinking beer in the bath

Drinking in the shower
The same it just ain't
After three cans
You start to feel faint
I've been here an hour
Since twenty to eight
I open another
Cold lager is great

Beer in the bath
Beer in the bath
I like drinking beer in the bath

I drink my last beer
Then call to my brother
'Please go to the fridge
and get me another'
I've drunk my last beer
It's time to get washed
Dried and then dressed
And go out and get sloshed

Beer in the bath
Beer in the bath
Yes, I like drinking beer in the bath
