Surrounds the heart
Impales the love
Destroys the hope
Makes light decay
Soulless black looks upon me
Anger and sorrow within
It binds me
To its horrible sin

Taking my heart
Hardening my veins
Destroying my soul
It takes it away

Like a wave of anguish
A wave of somber beliefs
It takes what it pleases
It entices the good

Evil within it, darkness it is
