Castaway - Poem by Larissa Izergina
I dare not cast my eye over your face
so stern and offended.
I dare not ask you why all this haste
you have always resented.
You dare not cast your eye over my face
still serene and so tender.
You dare not tell me why all that waste
of your hopes surrendered.
Castaway, you're just castaway...
...or am I?
