'Cause I Won'T (I Can'T Take This Anymore) - Poem by Rivers O'Donahue

I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t do it anymore,
‘Cause I won’t breath and I won’t see.

Walking down the street,
Every step seems closer to defeat,
I can’t stand this unbearable heat,
I can’t keep this little cheat,
I’ll have to die before I’m beat!

Show up at the door, and there stands a w*ore.
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
Show up at the door, and all I want to do is roar.
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
Show up at the door, and it burns to the core.
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
Show up at the door, and we wage war.

I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t do it anymore,
‘Cause I won’t breath and I won’t see.

Look me in the eyes, and they make you want to pray.
Look me in the eyes, and see each and every day.
Look me in the eyes, and feel the pain.
Look me in the eyes, and you won’t be the same.

I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t take this anymore,
No I can’t breath and I can’t see.
I can’t do it anymore,
‘Cause I won’t breath and I won’t see.
