Cloistered Mountain Stream Poem by james watkin

Cloistered Mountain Stream

Pure, pure life. With each
Intake of it
I feel cleansed, clear through
To my spirit.

Stone, stone hot. Which trail
Hard edged, hiking
Cooled itself, but in
Its far-off sound
Now verily soaks
Its footed ground.
