Coming Soon (From The Desk Of The Watcher) - Poem by Razorblade Kiss

I watch her lie in her bed
Her breath is short
She is almost dead
I read a poem of his arrival
The wind picks up
The windows break
She looks up and smiles
Then down yet again
She sighs and she is no longer awake
A shadow appears and reaches out his hand
The body rises
The soul escapes
The ground shakes
The bed quakes
The lights go out
I find the switch and turn them on
I look around, but it’s to late
I stand in the empty room
She’s still there
Her breath still short
But I know he’s coming soon

    It sounds like a bad
    nightmare, cryptic in
a sort of way. I like it.
