Do Gaza A Favour

Oh, you, whether a wanderer or a seeker

do Gaza a favour

pour my pain in to your eyes and don't fear to
show the oppressor falling in his own trap when he is about to label my blood
and yet again ready to flood the strip with 'red' yes 'red blood'

Oh, do Palestine a favour

absorb my screams into your tongue and
and then speak to the successor of this legitimate oppression
that their bullets haven't killed me,
bombs haven't destroyed me,
siege hasn't imprisoned me,
wall hasn't separated me,
checkpoints haven't humiliated me
and occupation hasn't occupied me

Oh, you, whether a wanderer or a seeker

do Gaza a favour

do Palestine a favour

This is a great piece of writing and plz i hope you take this the way its intended... but as one so young you have a great mind...I love the do me a favour lines as it sounds as if you dont hold much hope... a sentence used quite often as a kind of wry (take it or leave it) quote...
Your words just sit so comfortably... tyvm karen
