Dreams. A Necessary Necessity - Poem by Daniel Walker

Nothing but a dream,
Simply a dream,
Not more than a gleam the distance,
As a star is in the far night sky,
A glimmer simply shimmering in eye.

So when the tear comes streaming down my cheek,
My happiness will peek,
Such as it never has before,
As I see the open door,
I may take the first step into the world of new,
That I may have the liberty and freedom to pursue,
My most coveted desires.
