Every Moment - Poem by Olivia Riggan

Oh! How I ache for your undying love.
I miss you so.
Everyday is as if I am alone in this world.
Even if I am surrounded by friends.
I still know I will never be complete until I see your face once more.
I remember the nights I spent in your arms.
When your smell still lingered on my clothing.
How I would never want that moment to end but as I thought that
the sun arose.
I wish every day to see you one last time.
I wonder every morning how you may be doing.
Every night before I lay down I think of you.
But laying down and shutting my eyes does no good
I shall not sleep until I see you once more.
That was only one of the very many promises I made to you.
I wonder why you love me. I really do.
You say I am perfect in every way, when I am the exact opposite.
Things are only as they seem for a moment.
But those only moment I spent with you I put my love and full heart into every second.
