Foolish - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Do you know
how hard it is
to live without you?

of course you don't
your with you
every second
that i wish I was

take it from
someone who know
it's hard
like a room
where all the walls
are closing in
and there's
you can do
but sit
and watch
your world
close in

from experience
hell has no greater
threat than to feel
this gaping hole
that was
once you
for all

you'll never
feel this pain
that courses through
every inch of my being

Does that
make you
unbearably cold
or me
too foolish
to hold on
to someone
who is gone?
