Samael The Fallen

From Here To There And Back Again - Poem by Samael The Fallen

I was stuck in this area again.
I never knew why I was here
I stood here among other men
I was never really to them sincere
I pretty much hated them all
I didn't like being here
Yet as I recall
They are just reflections of me in a mirror
Am I crazy
Am I mad
Is my mind lazy
Could I be sad?
I asked that as I stood here once again
Wondering these thoughts and then
It struck me why I was here among men
The idea was Mend
In my head I realized this all over again
It was from where I started was here
And I went from here to there
And I came back again.
The Past isn't far
The future isn't close
I guess the past held me back
And the future was beyond the ropes.
