Go Ahead - Poem by Alexander Francisco

Go ahead and eat a meal
Just leave some for others at your table
Go ahead and win a fight
Just don't gloat all too much
Go ahead and make a fire
Just don't make the flames too hot
And you follow others, but keep your personality
And while in a situation, get a grip and stand up for yourself

Go ahead, win a poker game
But you just don't brag about your winnings, nor your losings
Go ahead and play a game
Just don't play for too long
And yet don't fuss, nor pout, nor sulk
Go ahead and sign a picture
From a roaring fan
Just don't steal the spotlight
Instead just say 'hey' and smile back

Go ahead and sing with others
Just don't take the microphone away
When it was never your turn
Go ahead and chat with others
Just don't send that many messages
Just keep your cool

If you follow this advice
Go ahead and live your life
Just continue the enchanting spell
That has brought upon you

Your life is like a story in the making
You decide how you write
And make new ideas when you flip the page
Anything will be possible, my son
If you just go ahead and live your life
