Goodbye - Poem by Skylar Cameron

Once and for all,
I say goodbye.
I fought to never say the word
And let me tell you why.
There's many other people
I had to leave behind
And having that happen to me,
was like a bullet in the eye.
When I was little,
Daddy always said,
he'd be here for a thousand years,
but now, he is dead.
I'll never forget that ugly look
of the killers face in a photo book.
He was Daddys best friend,
So they all thought.
He's in prison right now,
20 years and he's not.
We will find a way
to keep him in there.
One way or another,
We'll find it out there.
I Miss you Daddy
And I know you miss me too
