Hanging Off The Tree Of Man Poem by Robert Murray Smith

Hanging Off The Tree Of Man

Rating: 5.0

The fruit of evolution
Hanging off the tree of man
Dropped in his season.

Looking back to the beginning
Knowing we are all related
Otherwise, we would not be human.

A life given to everyone
To suffer, and enjoy, howsoever employed
A lifetime long, or short, for its time.
