Holding You Sweet One - Poem by Michael P. McParland

I'm holding you now sweet one
stroking your hair and rubbing your back,
I'll always be holding you because
you are my sweet lady and I love you very much.
I am holding you my sweet one
so very close and very tight because
I don't want to ever let you go again.
I love you dear and I always will
and I will hold you just as long and as tight
as you want and need.

I'm holding you in spirit dear until
we reunite and I can have you in my arms for real,
I'll give you the sweetest kisses and caresses
while I speak to you so very kind and softly
saying I love you babe and it's just
for you that I have been waiting,
I'll stick by you forever because I adore you,
I want to give you all the love you need
and that you are deserving.
I love you babe and I have my arms around you
holding on so very tightly just kissing you
with tenderness so deeply and gently.

I truly love you more than the whole universe
because you are my Angel Queen and dear everything,
I deeply love you babe and can't get enough
of the gorgeous person that you are
with your bright and glorious heart and soul,
I love you so very much it's for you
that my heart and soul sing in full voice.
I have loved you since the day we met
and I will love you well beyond this earthly life,
death cannot part us or take away our love,
what we have is a great gift from God.
I am holding you my dear so very close and very tight
so just feel my loving warmth and care
surround you now to wrap up in.
I love you babe you truly are superb
and when we are back together I'll hold you close to me
and serve you in true love as you deserve.
