Impossible - Poem by Rubiert Hidalgo

Impossible
Last night I felt like crying
Because the person I love
Wasn’t in my arms
Listening to my heart beating.

I wished she were there,
So she could feel sound and safe.
I wished she were there
To feel her tender voice
Whisper at my ear.

I wished to feel her touch
And her lips touching mine;
I wished she were there,
So I could feel her sweet
Smell once again,
But it was all a dream.

It was something impossible.
