Inside - Poem by Danny Miller

You put on your makeup
And curl your hair
You fret in the closet
About what to wear

None of that matters
To see what I see
Look in my heart
You're beautiful to me

When you look for beauty
Your eyes can deceive
Look with your heart
And rewards you'll receive

I see with my eyes
But also my heart
I had them both open
Right from the start

I may not be old
And may not be wise
But I see the real beauty
The kind that's inside
