Just Lay Here With Me - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Kira will you just keep lying here with me
snuggling the hours away?
I can feel all of your warmth and love
with your arms around me as well as your
soft kisses on my cheeks, neck, and lips
with the sweetest nuzzles so purely wholesome and good.
Kira please just lay here with me some more
so I can give you my sweetie even nicer kisses than before
so very sweet, tender, passionate and gentle.
I love you so very much and just want
to wrap you up so tight within my arms
to tell you that you are so very beautiful
and that I truly love you.
Kira will you just keep lying here with me
and we'll help each other soothe our aching hearts?
I just want to be with you forevermore
and relax with you tonight as I try to
work past all this exhausted fatigue that has a hold of me.
I love you babe you are my gorgeous Angel true
and I want nothing more tonight than to be lying here with you.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Will you just continue to snuggle with me sweet Kira? I truly am so exhausted that it's giving me a headache and my mind feels foggy. I miss you so very much and want to know if you'll just keep snuggling with me. Kira I am sending you all of my warmth and love with the biggest hugs and kisses to wrap you up within my strength.
