Life Is A Play Poem by james watkin

Life Is A Play

A play; for what is felt
By all least free in.
As where to stand; when set off
Marked out! Through whose cue
Drapes' dawn-lifted view!

This life - mere theatrics!
You can see it, hear
In each smile, hand-shook greeting.
Polite; o'erfriendly.
A formality.
