(limerick) How Many Little Dutch Boys - Poem by WES Vogler

Little Dutch boys, keep hands in your pockets.
You know nothing of science and rockets.
Go visit your mothers,
Leave lightbulbs to others,
And keep fingers outside of the sockets.

(family contention.. my wife says this doesn't work)

We will see if you are understanding. Little Dutch Boys are well known for putting their fingers in dikes to stop leakage. If they change lightbulbs perhaps they will put a finger in the light socket and surprise themselves mightily.
Thus the advice to leave the changing of lightbulbs to others. Was this your interpretation? It is a delight to explain these limericks if required. Just ask me. Learning is great entertainment. Thank you so much for your participation. (Report)
