Living In Poetry, Leaving In Poetry

Rating: 5.0
Living in poetry.
The house of words
Existing in nether worlds
Not sad nor mad nor bad
A lad without a dad
Mother of the moment
A comment
Giving birth to stillborn thoughts
Vocalised in silence to the swish of paper at the instigation of a pen.
How lonely the ink lives in a plastic tube. Leaning on a spherical brass ball which on the command of an unknown protagonist, lover or politician, turns slowly to smear the ink to paper.
A child is born.
In form
A Poem
Many will behold
Lies told
About the message within
Passed on from a soul
The elation, the anguish, the SOS
Words on paper
Will taper
In time
Taken over by apathy
Gone forever
Leaving in poetry

Poetry fills the souls of those who are left.

While living IN poetry, are you not leaving IN poetry? I can't put that together in my mind, you took a different approach to writing poetry, but never left IN poetry, right? Thank you for sharing this compelling poetry, monsieur
