Love, Mistakes, & Possible Heartbreak - Poem by Clynesha cobb

wasn't payin no mind and got hit on.
must have lost ya mind; you was real gone.
slipped up one time,
and got dissed on
coulda avoided all ah that if you woulda
chilled homes'

emotionally stable like doctor phil was.
but wearing ya heart on ya sleeve can get ya killed cus.
sayin this in a way to mean hurt-cause...
real smooth words tend to be like a ear buzz.
real sweet in a sense, and tickles much.
but it dont make no sense to let ya guard up
cause as soon as you do you'll be fucked up.
cause the truth hurts, so you get the lie.

Head over hills.
guess gravity doin its job.
got you so turned on
like a emachine laptop.
and now you hooked.
your a little like a snook
aint callin you a fish.
but with way you actin..
out of water is how you look.

take heed in my words cause i mean what i say.
to truely be in love, most of the time, theres no way
and i wish i could fix your one mistake.
take it all back but now its too late.
but next time you 'in love'
remember what i said.
your so young, so please understand.
just chill fah now and dont take no chance.
