My Etrenal Light... - Poem by Shambhu Arvind

Rain splattering across
I see your face made by the tears of God.

I raise up & ask
“Where is Perfection and Peace? ”
The supreme replies
“It’s with thee and will remain always,
A fool that you don’t realise;
She who caresses your pains
And laughs at your gains.
She who takes away your distrust
And lets yo sleep on a pure crest.
You are my favourite son
And that’s why i give her to you.
She who’s Pristine, Pure, Peace and Perfection
And my ultimate creation”.

I reply to the supreme,
“Guide me O God! and tell me how to,
Keep her with me forever”.

He gleams and says,
“You are not God, Who have won her
Or have the audacity to keep her.
It’s she, who will decide”.

I turn back and see your serene smile,
Your eyes taking away,
the cries of night.
Thanks and Sorries are mere words,
And i submit that you are my god’s eternal Light.
