My Type Of Love - Poem by Emma Hall

As beautiful as a rosebud,
As ruthless as the sea,
Strikes when no ones looking,
Pretty as can be,

Sometimes it lasts a lifetime,
Sometimes only a week,
It’s always like a roller coaster,
It has its low and its peak,

It is always special,
But it isn’t always right,
It will always be with you,
To hold you through the night,

But no matter when it happens,
No matter what it may seem,
It helps you though the low times,
And for the bad it will redeem,

So hold it close to your heart,
Whenever it comes your way,
Brush away your harsh feelings,
And let it make your day.
