Neda Agha Soltan - Poem by Sherif Monem

Neda Agha Soltan
Young Lady from Tehran
Her life was robbed from her
by a foolish bullet at her chest
She was calling for freedom
She was crying for human rights
Twenty six years of springs
Ended in lake of blood
A brave young lady from Iran
Never heard of by only few
Now she is a hero after she is gone
She had beautiful face like flower
Full of youth, hope and vigor
Life can be taken away in a minute
Dreams of long life and happiness
Gone and ruined
Neda Agha Soltan you left our world
Neda Agha Soltan hear our calls
You will be in our hearts forever
