Red, Red Blood - Poem by Tamara Moir

Alone in her
Room...
Lights out...
Moonlight
Shining through the
Window...
Music playing
Softly...
Gun in her
Hands...
She screams...
No-one hears...
'Soon it will end'
She thinks as she
Looks at the
Letter left for
Her family and
Friends...
She screams one last
Scream
Loud enough
For him to hear...
Raises the gun...
Pulls the trigger...
Flops like a rag doll
As red, red
Blood
Leaks all around...
