Simple Feelings - Poem by Daniele Pinna

A simple caress;
a simple touch;
a simple kiss;
no, that's too much.

A simple hug;
a simple smile;
a simple 'I love you';
no, that's too wild.

A poisoned dream;
a lovely death;
steal them all,
and take what's left.

A needed passion;
a long-sought desire;
ignore them all;
yes, I'm tired.

What comes next;
what's in store;
you can tear my heart,
but I'll love you more.
