Take Me - Poem by Tanzila Rehmat
Take me to the palace of your heart; make me your queen
Do it quietly; let no one intervene!
Inscribe on my skin, leave it divine
Make me yours; I make you mine!
Come let us go so far, where the winds are seductive
The grass is green, the flowers are producitve!
Hold my hand softly and kiss my lips
Hurry up before the air's heart rips!
Paint the heaven where you and I live
Let me name you my soul; let me give!
Rule over me, make me your kingdom
Conquer the love game, solve this conundrum!
Write me a song, make me your muse
Let emotions be tangible, do not refuse!
Wing my soul; hallucinate my heart
Cut my existence from this world part by part!
Fall the night, sing peacefully as doves sing
Let us cherish the proximity; let the glasses ting!
Sip the drink of ecstasy drop by drop
Fly from this world of bottom to the Seventh of top!
Whisper in my ears the words unsaid
Let us be alive, flare up the fire dead!
Rain like summer rain, blow like winter breeze
Make me still for a moment as waters freeze!
Shine like countless stars together in sky
I let you cuddle; take me to the world so high!
Single touch of your fingertips on my eyes...
Won't let tears fall; strengthen the ties!
I bow before you and we're so close
My necklace twinkles; in my hand the ring glows!
Such royal and loyal love that makes hearts melt
No queen in her life would ever have felt!
